sounds like Kenny Henderson did exactly what he was hired to do...
there's actually two posters on louisianasportsline, bigbobjohnsonmagnum and btown, who support the split, want to extend it, and are getting slaughtered in arguments there lol...

What a crook. He did everything he could to help the split happen and it almost caused the LHSAA to shut down.

As long as the split is only football, I dont think the privates will leave. The first year when they discussed moving every sport to a split, the privates were going to bolt and form a new association.

Well he's gonna be real pissed when they vote to split all classes in all sports in 2 weeks. And it is going to happen.

so... according to the Times-Pic... the split is officially no more already... it's back in the regular 5 class system like it was pre-split

now this isn't it for the "split" and the ideas that made it happen... Bonine's work isn't done. He still needs those principals on his side.

This is not new, there were members of the Executive Committee that were very angry about the way everything happened before and after the split vote. Especially the way henderson ignore the Association Charter, Constitution and bylaws to push his agenda to a vote. Then the strong arm tactics used on the Class B and Class C schools to decide an issue on a sport they dont play was salt on the wound.
So this is actually not new, it just took a while for Bonine to be briefed on what happened, investigate the issue and hire an outside counsel to review the case. The lawyer the LHSAA hired to review everything and confirmed that the Constitution was not followed. So the shite will hit the fan at the winter meeting.

can someone explain to my why there was a split in the first place? Having a dozen state title games or whatever they have now is absurd. Having a 10 team "division" where everyone makes the playoffs is equally absurd.
