If they haven't yet I don't see why they would now.

The Atlanta Braves were in the NL West for a long time.
Bobby Cox was asked about it. He said "I think it's to confuse the Russians if they ever invade."

Texas can not like this. First Texas AM brings the SEC into the state of Texas and now Houston and SMU bringing the Big East. It will be interesting to see if this takes a toll on recruiting at Texas.

See my next post....you could be right. I forgot Pitt has already left. If WV does too it isn't great.

Why is that funny? Football recruits from Houston and Dallas can now stay home and play instead of going out of state or riding the bench at Texas. A 3rd BCS conference in the state of Texas could prove to be a bigger problem then what you think!

If true:
BCS teams in Texas:
Texas
Texas A&M
Baylor
Texas Tech
SMU
Houston
Does California have more?
USC
UCLA
Cal
Stanford
...no?
Florida:
Florida
Florisa State
Miami
USF

This should open up the spots for LaTech to enter the C-USA
CUSA has just lost the Dallas/FW and Orlando markets. They will look to replace them. The list of schools that bring more market numbers than LTU is long.
Temple (Philadelphia)
North Texas (back into DFW)
FAU or FIU (Miami)
Middle Tennessee (Nashville)
Western Kentucky (less than 2 hrs from both Nashville and Louisville)
UT-San Antonio
Georgia State (ATL)
It will be about TV dollars as much as anything.

BE is well on its way to losing that status.
