Big East is adding Boise, UCF, Houston, San Diego State, SMU starting in 2013
Boise and SDSU will be football only
Also rumor is Navy will be joining soon

This should open up the spots for LaTech to enter the C-USA

I know Boise State said that they wouldn't join unless the Big East created a western division.

At this point, who cares? Everyone is getting what they want. To see the smaller schools have to play a legitimate schedule to earn a BCS bowl.

Is this official?
I'm confused.

Going to the Big East gives them a legitimate schedule?

Scientologist v. West Virginians.

Compared to what they are playing now....Yes. They will have to be ready for more than just a team or two and their depth will now be challenged.

I'm gonna laugh if they do join the Big East, only for that conference to lose their AQ status in the next year or so.....

If they haven't yet I don't see why they would now.

So the future Big East looks like this:
West Virginia*
Cincinnati
Louisville
Rutgers
Connecticut
South Florida
Boise State
Central Florida
San Diego State
Houston
SMU
Isnt this basically a CUSA level conference??? So thats 11 teams, are they going to add 1 more to get to 12 and have a championship game, or are they anticipating losing West Virginia and staying at 10?

Yea these conferences should be re-named to not be region oriented.

Adding a bunch of shitty schools won't help you keep your AQ.

Wow...I forgot Pitt is leaving and if West Virginia leaves as well that isn't that great of a conference. Still better than what Boise has been playing though.
