Bowden would have started Bin Laden at QB if he could throw

I heard the interview and Paul asked him and he answered his opinion.I agree though he's the last person who should be throwing stones.
I'll bet Bowden knows a hell of a lot more about Winston and his days at FSU than anyone posting here. He was an embarrassment.

Dude the point is Bowden is an embarassment for commenting. He played criminals more than anyone. His nicknames he garnered for the university are F$U, the Criminoles, and Free Shoes University. He has no right to speak about bringing embarassment to FSU

I heard the comments live. Finebaum used the word "embarrassing" when he posed the question and Bobby offered an opinion based on what he thinks is the consensus feeling among fans and boosters. Someone of his stature is undoubtedly still connected to the FSU community and has probably heard complaints about Jameis.
He followed that up by saying Jameis was one of the best players to ever suit up for FSU and the good thing is he's still young enough to grow up.
Bowden coached some POS players in his day, but his comments today are much ado about nothing IMO.

I sat in one of the suites at Doak Campbell with a booster (owner of Kelley Crop Insurance) during the FSU/BC game and he said the exact same thing Bobby Bowden said. I cannot confirm or deny that but that's what he told me to my face.

I think part of it could be sour grapes from Bowden.
Jimbo Fisher has done pretty well for himself since he took over for Bowden.
This is just stupid. Bowden and Fisher are very close. They have been all of Jimbos professional life. He's the honorary bowden.

It's pretty common for mentors to become bitter when they see their apprentice passing them up.

Paul FineBUM trying to generate controversy so he stays relevant. Nothing to see here.
Posted on 5/12/15 at 6:59 pm to NGATiger
yep.
that was only part of what he said.
of course he's going to take out the one part that is sure to stir the pot and tweet it.

Well, so what? They were all in bed together. So they're equally as embarrassing as he is.

Jimbo owes his life to terry Bowden.

Have you read the report on the rape case? It holds absolutely no water. In my mind, it was a false rape accusation that's going to follow along his side for the rest of his life.
I'm not saying he's a class act or not immature, but a rapist? I think not
