What if Griffey, Jr hadn't been hurt half his career?

SERIOUSLY. If he hadn't been hurt so much he could've been one of the GOAT

And we wouldn't have to listen to all the Bonds/McGuire/Sosa BS.

Which means that guys would still be juicing big time in the majors...

Hard to think much would change for Ali. Hard to be bigger than the greatest boxer of all time. Plus that decision and those events made him into more than just an athelete.

How much do you know about Ali? Two reasons it would have been different:

1. When Ali lost his boxing license in 1967 he was untouchable. I mean that both figuratively and literally. He was completely dominant in the ring. He was virtually unpunchable.

2. Had Ali never lost his boxing license he would have come up against Joe Frazier in either 1968 or 1969. He would have won easily.

The way Ali is viewed historically would be different. Possibly with less romanticism. Again, possibly. He may never have had as many epic fights, but he might not have Parkinson's either.

What if Reggie had just paid Lloyd Lake the money he owed him. Pete's probably still here and Kiffin would still be at UT

I'll grant you that Carroll would be at USC, but Kiffin would have found another job within 2 years if he had stayed at Tennessee.

Dolphins and Brees. They get Brees, Saban stays in Miami, Saints don't win a Super Bowl, Alabama doesn't have their last two titles and 2011 LSU enters the discussion as one of the greatest teams ever (based on resume and me being a homer).

What if Tyson doesn't loss to a 40/1 underdog opponent like Buster Douglas?

What if A-Rod, Griffey, and Randy Johnson all stay with the Mariners? (116 wins in a season)

What if Tom Brady's tuck wasn't ruled an incomplete pass vs the Raiders?

What if Penny Hardaway and Shaq would have stayed healthy and both remained in Orlando?

What if Curt Flood accepts his trade and doesn't pursue a lawsuit against mlb?

What if Jackie Robinson fails under the pressure and has a mediocre to bad rookie season?

What if McGwire put his andro in a more discreet place and out of a reporter's wandering eye?

The greatest injury related what if:
What if Mickey Mantle doesn't develop osteomylytis when he hurt his left ankle in HS and sprained his right knee stepping on the sprinkler head in RF in the WS in 51?

He is already top 10 all time but could he have hit 61? 715? A 60/60 season?

Could he have been the unquestioned GOAT?

1. What if Astros pitcher Mike Scott had the opportunity to pitch game 7 of the 1986 NCLS against the Mets ? Unfortunately, the Astros lost leads in both game 5 and 6.

2. What if the Astros pitching staff in 1986 consisted of Nolan Ryan, Mike Scott, and James Rodney Richard ? + anyone not named Charlie Kerfield ?
