Forgot about Freddie Adu. Wasn't he the #1 pick at 14 or something?

Adu and it's not even really close dude was so hyped he made people give a shite about a sport no one in the us cares about whatsoever

Eddie griffin didn't have LeBron hype.. but close . Was supposed to be the next kg and had the tools to be. The Rockets traded Damm near their whole team for him. Drank himself out the league and eventually to death

She's won a major. She made big money being sponsored by Nike. And the reason she probably didn't seem like a golfer at Stanford was because she couldn't play there. I'm not surprised at the hipster comment. I'd be rebellious too if my parents were as controlling as hers were.

Decent, albeit not living up to the hype yet. She's won 1 major so far and is 26 years old. Its not like she's disappearing off of the golf map.

For the sake of naming someone that hasn't been mentioned yet, whatever happened to that Drew Henson guy? He was the Michigan QB that was drafted by the Yankees and was supposed to be a two sport superstar. But I think he flamed out in baseball and football because I never heard of him after college

You did get a mulligan as drew Henson wasn't a bad answer.

How about dejuan Wagner? I remember hearing a ton about him after he dropped 100 in a high school game

Everyone saying Freddie Adu, keep in mind he was 15-16 when all the hype started.

26 years old doesn't matter

She been a pro for over a decade and hasn't done much. Serena Williams was kicking arse like 3 years in and she turned pro at 14.

Michelle Wie isn't even at maria sharapova levels
