McCann stood up to a loudmouth once, and is one of thousands of baseball players to do this since baseball began, and all of a sudden he is the poster boy for such activity to mental midgets like you.

I was referring to mccan acting like a jackass after jose fernandez hit his first home run. I think gomez is a prick and was only upstaged in douchedom by mccann, so that one is almost a wash.

Mccann is a killjoy, plain and simple. Braves fan? No need to read this deep into an off the cuff comment about a guy being a dipshit.

I'm sure he saw the catcher move 5 feet outside.

He is my least favorite player in MLB for many reasons

1. Known steroid user and therefoer a cheater

2. Can't play any position in the field. I am a DH hater and David Ortiz is exhibit A

3. Arrogant

4. Plays for the Red Sox, an extremely unlikable team for anyone who isn't a fan

5. Selfish, whines and complains about his stats, and throws tantrums when a hit is scored in error. Who cares? He has done that twice this year.

6. Showboater, no humility at all

7. Doesn't follow the script.

This. Ramirez throws a strike there and he looks like a fool. But everyone in the ball park knew he wasn't getting a hittable pitch there. So whats the problem?

That's cool. And I don't think anybody said it was wrong. But it's just a dickhead move.

No, but 99% of them are. Leaving a pitch within hitting range isn't exactly the best way to walk someone.

You are correct. I remember the intentional pitch that Vlad slammed.

Should have known not to leave a pitch within a 20 foot radius of Vlad.

I disagree.

I laughed at this for a solid 20 seconds. Hilarious. And great title for the OP.

Needs a "Frick this shite" caption.

He started moving in the middle of homeboy's pitching motion. I'd say that's quite a distraction, and therefore a fat bitch move.

Because he was obviously trying to throw a strike

I want to talk about this situation and I will as soon as I have more answers. In the meantime I want to let you know how I am approaching this situation. One, I have already contacted the Players Association to confirm if this report is true. I have just been told that the report is true. Based on the way I have lived my life, I am surprised to learn I tested positive. Two, I will find out what I tested positive for. And, three, based on whatever I learn, I will share this information with my club and the public. You know me - I will not hide and I will not make excuses.-David Ortiz

I fail to see "I tested positive for steroids" in his talk with the media. It could have been anything, and it's not like he's aging terribly, or breaking down in his old age.

I'll admit I'm biased, but they've managed to find proof against Roger, Alex, and Bonds. I don't see anywhere near the same stuff against Papi. He's turned off enough people at this point in his career that there should be some noise happening from other players/ex trainers.

Meh I don't like Ortiz but I don't see the issue here. I mean we only see 1 pitch and if the previous 3 where like that I don't see the issue (not that there is one even on a 3-2 count)

Ortiz is a punk no doubt but no issue with this

Unless he admits it you won't find proof. Considering he was part of the testing to find out how prevalent it is was. Do I think he currently uses? No idea because I think steroids and many other drugs are farther ahead than the testing process is, but I think he dabbled in it.

I don't either, FWIW.
