Sources: NBA and NBPA working through a minimum two-week window of protocol tightening that includes:
*No hugging or interaction of rival players on court pre and post-game.
*Reducing social interactions during games, including tapping hands during free throws.

so you can man up and play D against your opponent without spreading it....but don't you dare tap hands during free throws

It's the same way in LA high school soccer. You can play 90 minutes against the other team, full contact no problem. But no post-game handshakes

Here's an idea....it's a virus...you're not stopping it, stop parading around like you will.

So 2 dudes can basically roll around on the mat like they are fricking each other and be "safe" from the Corona, but shaking hands might be a problem??

Windhorst says there have been multiple NBA players that have tested positive for CoVid for a second time. Isn't reinfection supposed to be exceedingly rare? What the hell is going on with the NBA?

They are just trying to lessen the window of exposure. All of 5 minutes

It probably does nothing since you're already rubbing up on each other for an hour beforehand but whatever, at least they are playing.

The NBA should just have 5 on 5 HORSE games like a shootout in hockey.

There, I’ve fixed it.

And to think, people in charge of a multi-billion dollar business looked at this and agreed: "that seems logical"

It's ALL about optics. Logic and critical thinking left the discussion LOOOOOOOOONG ago

You can test positive for COVID twice and still have only had it once. If you haven't noticed the testing for this virus is shite.

People can test positive for MONTHS after they have had it, and almost all cases of supposed re-infection have been this.

The cases of actual re-infection are a statistical anomaly.
