On Sunday, a bettor with Hard Rock casino's newly re-opened online sportsbook in Florida won $5.5 million on a four-leg, same-game parlay on the Houston Texans-Cincinnati Bengals game.

The four legs on the parlay were:

• The Texans to beat the Bengals.

• The game to go over 44.5 points.

• Texans running back Devin Singletary to score a touchdown.

• Singletary to go over 51.5 rushing yards.

Singletary rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown, and the Texans kicked a field goal on the final play for a 30-27 win over the Bengals. It resulted in one of the largest parlay payouts ever reported by a U.S. sportsbook.

He had to have put down at least $10k to get that pot, which is a massive amount on such a speculative bet.

Great work though. That game was ripe for an upset. Similar to Broncos at Bills tonight IMO.

So basically he's some rich guy that just put a huge bet down? That doesn't seem like a crazy long odds parlay or anything.

It’s just nuts that he put so money on a crazy 4 leg parlay but yeah assuming the dude is just loaded it’s not really that crazy IMO

Same guy may have lost $1.5M on Kent State vs Bowling Green. If so it makes you wonder how close to even overall a $5.5M payout gets him.

Imagine the swing of emotions he went through on Boyd's dropped TD during Bengals last drive. That probably saved his bet.

His odds of winning went from like 70% to 55% to 15% (for a split second when Burrow put it on Boyd) to 60% a split second later, and then that GW FG with a replacement kicker. That would have been insane.

I’m in a discord group with a very degenerate poker player that bets about $20,000 in random sports a day. It’s nuts. He loses about 75% of the time

That was a dime by Burrow. I had Bengals ml parlayed with Niners. Unbelievable drop.

Singletary hasn’t had a rushing Td all season I know Pierce was out but coming into the game yesterday the Texans were the worst rushing offense in the league and only had 2 rushing tds outside of Stroud

Yeah but he knew Stroud >>> Burrow and that’d open up the running game

I thought every online Sportsbook capped winnings? Some to $1m a day, some a little higher, but most all are under $2m …. Idk if they even have to pay the full amount…

A wagered half a million to get it. 9/1. I don’t see how this is some great score.

Dude, Fanduel doesn't even let you bet more than a couple of grand per game.

I do wonder with these guys like Mattress Mack what their arrangement is with the books. Does he go deposit a few million in person, but still makes bets on his phone like us regular joes?

11/1 but even then it doesn't make sense. 11/1 are the odds on a typical 4 game parlay with all legs against the spread. The Texans moneyline leg should've skewed the odds tremendously as they were +260. Maybe the fact it was a single game parlay affected the overall odds (I have no knowledge of prop bet parlays), but that is an amazingly foolish bet at those odds.

I guess it makes sense since it's correlated to some extent.

Texans ML with over would net you close to $3MM if you put down $500K.

Then you have to pay TAXES on it.

It would win you that in two individual bets. It would pay off more than that in a parlay.

He has to come over the stateline to do mobile bets. A lot of times he just comes straight to LC to the casinos in person

Only explanation is a Time Traveler. No way someone puts down $550K on a 4-team with Singletary getting a TD when he hasn't had one all year.
