How long is someone in there prime? B/c he had some great years early....then the whole Raiders BS....then he and Tom Brady went bonkers.

Most talent, Moss....... Best prime maybe me CJ b/c he's actually putting up numbers year after year.

Judging by the amount of people saying Moss's prime was superior, it isn't close.

Randy Moss. IMO he's the 2nd best WR of all time, behind Jerry Rice.

If we're talking in their prime, I'd go with Moss.

But I'm pretty sure Johnson will end up having the better overall career when it's said and done.

Moss is the better player....despite all of CJs bullshite I didnt take him as someone who took plays off like Moss.

That said I'll take Megatron over either.

And Calvin has gotten Matthew Stafford a $100 Million contract.

Go frick yourself with this statement. I hate this statement enough when comparing older guys like Rice to young guys, since it's not the current players fault the rules are different. There is no way to know whether some guys today may have been better/worse with the old rules and vice versa.

Also, Randy Moss played just a few years ago, he had pretty much the same rules as CJ has now

It has changed and Randy Moss' peak was not a few years ago it was before the contact rules were changed for DBs.

If you think that shite doesn't affect WRs you don't know what you're talking about.

And you need to calm down.

This was in 2011 and it has been enforced even more recently

Too bad his prime was way shorter than Rices.

I would still take Rice over any wr period.

But to answer the initial post. I would take CJ in a heartbeat.

This is a little misleading.

Upon being drafted, Matthew Stafford signed a deal worth up to $78 million with just over $41.5 million guaranteed. That was before anyone knew anything about Stafford and Johnson on the field together.

Going into last season, Stafford had two years remaining on that deal, but was extended three more years in a deal worth up $53 million and $41.5 million guaranteed.

On another note: When is the last time Detroit had anything close to a franchise quarterback? Some may think Stafford is one, some may not. He is, however, the closest thing they've had to one in quite a long time. Johnson may make Stafford look better than he actually is, but the guy was going to make a shite ton of money with or without Johnson.

Culpepper was just flat-out not good without Moss.

I'm a huge Megatron fan. But Moss is the 2nd best recover to ever play the game, and it isn't close. Maybe when Megatron career is all said and done, the argument might be different. But as of now Moss/Johnson
