Better career? Pujols vs Miggy

If Pujols continues to put up numbers in the future that he has so far in his career, will these 2 players be in the same ballpark? A buddy of mine thinks that I'm crazy that I confidently said Pujols will have a greater career and go down as an all time great. He thinks that he isnt/wont be any greater than Miggy when they're all said and done.

Pujols is already down as an all time great...Pujols' decline will be steep in about two years.

Without even looking at stats..
Pujols career seems superior than Miggy.
Miggy was good in Florida, but he's really come on it seems these past 2 seasons.
And now I checked the stats.. and wow Miggy was better in Florida than I assumed.

Pujols is the answer right now.
But Cabrera is significantly younger, and Pujols's production/body has steadily been breaking down the past five years.
Cabrera will have had the better career when we look back upon it in 20 years.

3 years isn't THAT significant.
Anyways, Pujols is better than Miggy in every regard and will finish that way.

Miggy has been mad underrated for a long time. He was so fricking good with the Marlins. I could not believe they traded him for so little.

yeah, dude has had a helluva career so far. Hell for the Tigers he has hit 30HR + and 100+ every year for them and only one of those years he hit under .300.

Cabrera's 10 years is averaging to 193 hits, 34 HRs, and 120 RBI's at a .318 AVG
Pujols' 12 years is averaging to 196 hits, 41 HR's, and 125 RBI's at a .325 AVG
Pretty impressive by both.

Pujols easily. Miggy is great but he's never been the clear-cut best player in the league. Pujols was way more dominant in his prime, was a much better all-around player, and is considered by a lot of people to be the greatest RH hitter to ever live. Cabrera is more in the Frank Robinson category except Robinson was a way better baserunner and defender than Cabrera can ever dream to be.

That'll be tough. He's at 1800 now and averages ~190 a season. Even if you give him 200H a season he's got to keep that pace for 11 years. He's flirted with 200 a few times but only hit the mark once, this year.

He's been on a steady slope downward the last few years. Granted it was impossible to maintain his 06-09 form for much longer but he's still technically 'declining'. In the last 3 or so seasons he has gone from a .333/.440/40/120 guy to a .300/.360/35/110 hitter. His K's are up and BB's are down.
He's still a great player, he's just 'in decline' relative to his prime 3/4 seasons.
