With college and pro football upon us, what app do you guys use to shop the best lines and track all your action?

I use the Action Network app. LINK

It's got a great user interface and shows the available lines from several different sports books so you can find the best value for the side you want.

You can set notifications on line movement and in game updates. You can also see the percentages of money coming on both sides.

It's good as a live score app as well with little things like clicking on a game and seeing want network it will be airing on and what time. It will also tell you how many minutes until a game comes back from halftime, so you can know when to flip back to watch your team. It will have win probabilities in real time, stats, etc.

Curious if you guys use any other sports apps that may be better than the Action Network app.

Lol Rovell stinks, but this app is actually legit. I don't know why they hired Darren...he knows jack shite about betting and is the internet's punching bag.

He can't add much to their bottom line which is ironic because all Darren does is erroneous talk about how dumb shite like Khabib taking a Coke bottle off a press conference table somehow costs Coca-Cola 4 billion dollars.

Also a big fan on the Action App. Makes it super easy to add bets when you load which book you're using it will just pull those lines in. Their podcasts are good too, been tailing Stuckey for years.

Me too man. Love listening to the pod and jotting down their opinions as I pretend to be working, so I can tail some of the picks. Been listening to their pod since it was called DeGen and Juice with the terrible theme song lol.

Action Network is an app for tracking your picks, the picks of "experts" and some good articles. It's not for actually making bets like a sportsbook.

There should be "more wagers" for a game and look for alternate spreads. I see it for some games like Tampa Bay/Dallas, but not OSU/Minnesota. Anyway, Fanduel is weird here because you can't buy into a push. Tampa Bay is -7.5 and they won't let you buy it down to -7, only -6.5.

Legal sports betting here in Tennessee

Elite class:
Draftkings
Caesars

These two blow the others away in terms of promotions, they must both be operating at a loss to gain market share.

Decent:
Bet MGM
FanDuel
TwinSpires
Wynn Bet

Absolute trash:
Action247

Fanduel, BetMGM, and Draftkings have like 80% of the market in Michigan. Barstool was hanging in fourth for a while, but is fading a bit. They were cool as they gave me $1,000 credit not long after I lost a $1,200 bet. I saw recently Caesars bought out William Hill nationally. That is a pretty good app, too. In Michigan, the online books have to be tied to one of the physical casinos. I think it's cool that Tennessee is all online. Who needs brick and mortar for sports betting?

I literally don’t want to leave Tennessee at this point. Spent a week in Austin, Texas and was going through withdrawal symptoms.

I’ve made absolute bank taking advantage of promotions, I’m up about 9K with very little risk since it started in November 2020.

Bet MGM actually puts limits on what I can bet now because they caught on to what I was doing, although there is clearly nothing legally wrong with hedging.

I’ve got some friends in Michigan that made a couple grand last season due to being able to bet some higher risk stuff without real risk due to promos.

I have a friend who stuck with Bovada, even with all the legal sites in Michigan. Most of them will throw you at least $10 and even some $50-$100 free bets here and there. I was down a few grand for the year and MGM gave me some bonus on a deposit, but for whatever reason my deposit and the bonus were restricted to gaming and I couldn't pull out the money until I played it a million times over. Well, I just kept winning and winning because it was inaccessible play money to me, but eventually cashed six grand.

He also can’t be taken seriously because he puts his Arkansas bias into all of his “models.”

Dude thinks he’s a savant. He was AWFUL last year.

That’s how a lot of sites get people, like a deposit bonus up to 25% but then you have to play so much money to slowly unlock the bonus. It’s rarely just a cash drop into your account

I have a Bovada account and a local book. Once Louisiana goes live with legal betting, we will really be able to shop around on Action Network app.
