I think Kap doesn't have a job because he isn't really good. He was great under Harbaugh but then fell off. He could easily be one of the top backup in the league but teams don't want the headache for a backup. I am not saying I agree with it just how I see it

He is very very obviously 1 of the best 32 QBs in the league.

Please don't act like he's a good quarterback... If his talent outweighed his distraction, he'd be on a team already.

Maybe he is. Think about some of the teams that could conceivably sign him to be a starter, Bears have a young guy they just drafted, Colts Luck will be back soon, Jets would probably be the most logical place, Houston has Watson. Where could he go other than the Jets that don't have an established good starter or a young guy waiting in the wings

64? Maybe... 32, probably not.

Until they sign Cousins

If they sign Cousins. Next year. We're talking about this year, right?
Then we've got Josh McCown for the Jets.

Like he is going to go back there of all places. He will obviously get signed at some point just like Vick post prison. Idk if it will be as a starter though

He's definitely not going back there. I was talking about being amongst the 32 best QBs in the lead, not potential landing spots.

They can bring Kaep in but I think the offense continues to bomb.
Kaep needs a specific kind of offense to flourish and DCs have pretty much figured out how to game plan against it.
I figure that the team signing him and then having him flop majorly will put a stake in this whole "Kaep's a good QB" argument, even though they will try to use Cincy's current offensive ineptitude to excuse him.

There are several backups better than McCown.
Hoyer's last 17 games prior to this season
23/7
Roughly 63 percent completion percentage
5 wins, 8 loses
Pretty good for a cheap stopgap

Apparently he isn't. Can you explain why every other single player who took a knee is still in the nfl?
Posted on 9/18/17 at 10:48 am to StrongBackWeakMind
The only 2 places he could go in are Jacksonville and Cincy.
Browns have Kizer
Bears have Trubisky
He can't really go back to San Fransisco
Jets want to be as bad as possible
Houston has Watson
All of that along with the distraction and the money he probably wants is the reason I believe he hasn't been signed.

Sign him, please fricking do it. When he goes 0-5 with 2 TDs and 14 INT's we can finally end this fricking parade of bullshite.

Haven't watched the Ravens game yet, but doesn't look good.
