Here we are again! Media bias is BACK! It's all about the eyeballs, not who deserves to be ranked but rather who will bring in the most eyeball! Not to mention, media have always hated the South!

It's all in the rankings!

OSU is ranked #1 in spite of the fact they will only play 3 ranked teams. Compared to LSU, AL, & Wash. has 4 ranked teams.

FSU is ranked #4 they only play 2 ranked teams LSU & Duke and one is completely out of the top 25. Which begs the question as to why they were in the top 25 in the first place?

GA ranked #2 and plays 4 ranked team with one out of the top 25

Michigan ranked #3 and plays who plays 2 ranked teams. Get this. They have played no one and won't until their last three games of the season. Which means fewer injuries than a team with an SEC schedule.

LSU dropped 9 slots when they lost to #4 FSU. Look at OU for losing to an unranked team they drop only 3!

Before the BCS, the media got away with this all of the time. I remember Bear Bryant' AL undefeated team ranking #2 to a one lost team. Hence, the reason that, no matter who won in the SEC, the team fans, when on TV, would shout SEC #1 and not their winning team!

BCS made the SEC because they balanced the voting from the media bias. Well, now they have it back and we are! Maybe LSU should leave the SEC and play in the ACC then go to the playoffs every year as an undefeated team!

Get rid of the media from ranking anything to do with College football and let get on with a 12 game playoffs!

The College Football Playoff rankings have no correlation to the AP ranking that’s you have been looking at for the past 2 months. I can tell by you post that you’re an idiot.

And next year it's a 12 team playoff so realistically top 11 since the media will pick a G5 team that will get destroyed in round 1

C’mon mate. It’s a tv show.

They do this every year. Manufacture controversial talking points to generate content until the only poll that matters drops at the end of the season. We know how the sausage is made by now

I think they got the top 4 correct at this point. Who’s #1 or #3 is not as significant

If they’re going to a 12 team playoff then the bcs should determine the 12. I don’t trust the committee people

You can always tell who the dumbest people on the board are by the overreactions to the CFP pools each week.

SEC will have UT and OU in as well! After they beat up on each other then what? LSU leave the SEC and win the national championship every year! You'll be undefeated, minimal injuries and ready to go at the end of the season!

I still have absolutely no idea why they made a committee. A playoff was 100% needed, but there was no reason to get rid of the formula to determine the rankings.

As time went on with the BCS, we saw more and more computer polls show up, and they were all different outcomes. I remember researching who would create a computer poll and see where they originated or what college they came from. The bias became predictable from my search. It also tells me there is no such thing as Ai. It'll only be what man inputs in their algorithms!

Over reaction?? No, the dumbest are those who will not see what's right in front of them! Get off the dope!

It’s week one of the poll. It will all work itself out and look completely different next week.

That may be true however that doesn't address my point.
