The NBA is closer to the NHL than the MLB.

That's like 8 total games. There were 17 MLB games yesterday

I don’t think that anyone is disputing that the NFL is king in this country. It’s quite easy to see that the thread is a rebuttal to those who have pronounced baseball as dead.

They have got to get the blackout issue squared away if they want to maintain their level of support.

You have the technology to bypass a blackout. Just get a VPN, like IP Vanish, and when you download the MLB package and get a blackout, change your location. It's 2022, why be held hostage by an app? Sometimes the MLB app won't let you into a game even when you know you are out of the market area. Why panic and do without?

You can get a VPN all day for about 3 bucks a month. Check on Youtube videos.

If you had a paid subscription like Fubol and you want a certain local channel they offer, you can use the same VPN to fine-tune the streaming app and get the local channels you want by changing your city.

Come on folks, it's 2022.

I was at Busch last night. It was hit, but I didn’t think the humidity was that bad

Once the sun went down it wasn’t to bad. I can’t imagine how bad it was today with a 1:15 game

Borderline slavery that WNBA teams don’t charter flights for every road trip IMO

NFL, sure, but by what metric is it firmly rooted behind the NBA?

Bama,

Yeah it’s 2022.

Fans shouldn’t need to get a VPN, watch YouTube video to figure out how to “fine-tune” apps, and hide their city to watch games.

MLB is dead because of wokeness and their own stupidity.

They dont want you watching. They dont care. They make it impossible to watch MLB games.

The MLB has an app. Theres a ‘free game
Of the day’ that you can watch live. 1/3 of the time, when you try to watch, it’s restricted.
Like right now. Its the Blue Jays-Orioles. Why would that be restricted in New Orleans???

I have ESPN+. They show some MLB games, but when the Astros are on, its blocked. I pay for this service. How can they block it???

Im so done with MLB. Its fallen so far behind the NFL and NBA. Old baseball fans are dying, young people hate baseball, and they’re losing the age group in the middle.

It’s definitely become a regional sport, like hockey. East Coast, West Coast, and cities with teams still care. The rest of the country does not and has tuned out.

MLB is dead, and it killed itself.

You got receipts to back this rant up?

I’m of the opinion that there should be double headers every other Saturday during the season. Every team would play one at home and one on the road. It would shorten the season by about a week. And in exchange for losing a few gates, the trade off is that it could be marketed as an event to draw more people and have other attractions happening at the same time with bands playing, etc.

The Braves should definitely be in favor of this. The Battery would absolutely kill it for a Saturday doubleheader.
