He shouldn't bave been fired for this, but it was pretty dumb for him to try and read the lyrics of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's First of tha Month live on the air, knowing there were 3 n bombs in first set of lyrics.
Whomever printed out the lyrics and didn't black out the words, knowing this would be attempted to be sung live on air, is the big dumbass.

He just tweeted that he basically admits Barstool is a phony and full of shite brand now. Their entire schtick was they were for the people and anti establishment bullshite. It’s ironic that someone as shitty as Mintz completely tears down the entire facade

Didn't he cede a bunch of control when they sold to that Chernin guy, then again when they went into business with Penn? That's how business works, Dave doesn't control things like he used to. Of course, he sold out.

And it’s all been openly talked about. I’m with you. Don’t get why people are just now realizing.
Dave even had a video where he laughed at people calling him a sellout. He pretty much said “yeah I fricking sold the company you morons”. Which is why people respect him. Most people would run from that label even though it’s true. Tell it like it is. Good or bad. Let the chips fall where they may.

It’s just Dave making the same excuse as every person he used to slaughter for bending the knee to cancel culture. Everyone does it because they are following their money, never stopped Dave for crucifying others for it. Now Dave is bending the knee to his puppet master. Fair to call him out on it. I mean Barstool is anticancel culture. Dave, Erika, Dan all went to bat for Mintzy. They don’t have control though. Penn would be a different story.
Dave did have a tweet saying he’s removing the cancel cancel culture shirt from the Barstool store today.
