Tennessee is gonna win 100-0 and it will tell us nothing about them. Same for Jawja. With NIL, all of these games will be one sided. Terrible.

it's stupid
you gain nothing from the games, you would be better off just having scrimmages vs other p-5 schools.
And colleges charge full price for these games, an utter joke.

Yes, but it does allow the stronger team to get a game in against an opponent that does not wear the same logo.
So, you can go full speed, knock the shite out of other people, work on things and coaches get to see how the team looks in a "real" game.

Why are so many scared to play games against equals? Watching SEC fans cry about a 9th conference game is just surreal. Everyone should play 10 conference games and 2 other real games. If you lose some more games so what, Expand the playoffs like every other sport so losses don’t end your playoff hope. Playing these garbage games in front of paying customers is ridiculous and shows us how dumb fans are.

We play 10 games against P4 competition, followed by an sec championship game, followed by potentially 3 consecutive top 10 teams.
I won't apologize for wanting to play high schoolers in the two games we actually get a choice over.

FCS games should all be played in week 0 though I do like that A&M has generally used them as their senior night game when it's late in the season.
