You must have not watched the game then.

LSU has plenty of talent to do it. Stop kidding yourself. We routinely have defensive battles with Bama, we just get tired because our offense can't keep the ball or score.
LSU is top 5 team in terms of talent, just like Clemson. We just need better coaches on offense.

what did Williams do?
Got 39 points dropped on his team and said the Clemson offense was nothing special. He was asked when he thought something along the lines of "man, these guys are hard". His response was that Clemson wasn't hard, but in fact they were pretty easy.
What a dumbfrick lol

Did Saban accept any blame? B/c there was some really poor play calling at critical times, and few defensive adjustments.
He blamed that idiotic fake field goal on a missed block, basically throwing an unnamed player under the bus for one of the worst play designs/calls I have ever seen.

We allowed the same amount of points Clemson did at half essentially.
We just can't maintain TOP on offense so our defense wears down.
Are you arguing LSU doesn't have top 5 talent or that LSU and Alabama don't routinely have strong defensive battles in our games?

Did anyone else think their press conference came off of as being a sore loser and classless?
The first time I ever saw Bama play without class was against Oklahoma and when they played dirty and tried to rip the head off of the Heisman winner.
They were undisciplined, pointing fingers, taunting Oklahoma, ripping off helmets, screaming at the refs.
It was weird, never seen that with a Saban team.
I think he's lost the program to some degree. The monster grew too big and he can't control all those egos and attitudes and dumbshites who shouldn't even be in College.
Same thing happened with Switzer at Oklahoma...too much success, program got too big - started letting total mercenary thugs in like Alabama has in the program.

I chalk it up to them having the media and SEC suck their balls all season long.
This felt like the most self-entitled team since 2005 USC.
They couldn't believe Tua didn't win the Heisman, they couldn't understand nobody wanted to watch them play. The young players acted like because they signed up to play at Alabama, they'd just show up and win a National TItle.
Arrogant and poor sportsmen and it showed in the Oklahoma game and it showed in the Clemson game...they got their arse whooped and still didn't respect their opponent.

Bama's after game press conference was classless
This makes sports infinitely more interesting to watch.
But if I had to guess, they probably weren't classless, and it's just being viewed through "I hate everything about Bama" lens.

Was it classless for LSU players to write National Champs LOL on whiteboard against UCF?

Was that the first Bama game you ever saw? LOL
They do this on a weekly basis, and get away with it. The SEC cheers it on by allowing it, then explaining it away.
I honestly don't blame the kids for acting like asses when they get that type of treatment on and off the field.

Alabama has had legitimate problems with false starts in the red zone within the last 4 years.
checking this for this season
Louisville: one delay of game penalty at UL 4. No red zone false starts
Arkansas St: 3rd and 8 at ASU09 PENALTY UA false start (Jonah Williams) 5 yards to the ASU14.
Ole Miss: None
TAMU: 1st and GOAL at TAMU03 PENALTY UA false start (A. Leatherwood) 5 yards to the TAMU8.
ULL: 2nd and 4 at LA08 PENALTY UA false start (Pierschbacher) 5 yards to the LA13.
Arkansas: 4th and GOAL at AR04 PENALTY UA substitution infraction 5 yards to the AR9. No red zone false starts.
Missouri: None
Tennessee: None
LSU: None
Mississippi State: None

4th and 1 at OU15 PENALTY UA false start (Damien Harris) 5 yards to the OU20.
Clemson: 2nd and GOAL at CU01 PENALTY UA false start (Wills Jr, J.) 5 yards to the CU6
Alabama had seven (7) red zone false starts in 15 games. As you can see, they had a stretch of seven (7) straight games without one such penalty.
In SEC regular season play, Alabama had one (1) red zone false start in the 2018 season

“They weren’t hard at all,” Williams said in a postgame interview showed on ESPN. “They were very easy. They capitalized on a lot of mental errors. We made a lot of mental errors. They didn’t come out and do nothing special. We played greater offense than that – Oklahoma offense or Georgia offense.
quote:
"Trevor Lawrence threw the ball up. It ain’t like he just put them on the money, dropped dimes, none of that. He just threw them up and the receivers made plays. You’ve got to give all the respect to the receivers."

Clemson dominated last night. I was as shocked as anyone, but they did.

You’d be right
Players taking responsibility for not executing well = classless behavior
