Exactly. Bama should not be considered at all. No reason. Only 2 loss team should be a conference champ.

Bama would most likely be favored over any team except for UGA and Michigan in any game we played. We should be considered...and if TCU and USC lose... we will. Don't be mad about it!

Bama's best win is going to be Texas after this week.

Ohio St will have two wins ranked above Texas.
I know we hate Ohio St, but come on.
The "best losses" shite needs to die.

If Bama lost today, this would remain a fact. So it does not matter.

Who is getting in over them?

A 1-loss TCU is not a conf champ and would have lost to KSU. TCU is not a name brand. 2-loss Bama gets in over 1-loss TCU.

TCU is in over both even with a loss next week.

0% chance this happens.

Only team that might get in over TCU is Ohio St.
And even then, they would need to get embarrassed by K State.

You think a TCU that doesn’t win its conference and just lost to Kansas St makes the playoff?
This must be your first season watching college football.

You guys are thinking about this from the wrong perspective.

The TV networks, media and powers that be would much rather see:

Georgia v. Bama in Peach Bowl
Michigan v. TCU in Fiesta Bowl
USC v. Ohio St in Rose Bowl

Those are your big money, big hype, big ratings games. The "deserve" factor only takes you so far.

We've got a small chance. Kansas State blows out TCU, and USC loses, we're in. So, "no shot" my arse. I don't expect it, but don't be ridiculous.

You're probably still upset about prior Notre Dame vs. Bama games, don't let that skew your judgement man!

Alabama has forgivable losses, but their best wins are Texas/Ole Miss and at the end of the day they have two losses and won’t even be in their conference championship

Media darling Ohio State 1 loss

Media darling Alabama 2 losses

Pretty clear cut

Ohio State has better wins

Alabama has better losses

Michigan will be #1
Georgia
TCU
USC
OSU
Bama

If TCU or Southern Cal falls out, look for Bama to move up to 4 if Michigan stays at #1. They won’t have a rematch in the semifinals after watching a blowout at home of the same game a week prior.
