Leave it to the fair weather Rangers fans to say its too hot to go to a baseball game. Its a sport meant to be played outside cmon now
frick that and frick you too. Nothing like heat rash all over your dick, balls and arse just from trying to catch a ballgame in the months of June-September. You don’t have to be a die hard to hate sweating through your clothes.

Option 1. Has no AC and baseball is played in the summer/ early fall in Texas, the turf has been measured up to 150 degrees at times.
The seats weren't much better
Option 2. Has an Air Conditioner winner winner chicken dinner

And then they replace it with something that looks like a 747 hangar.
Technically it’s a stainless steel gas grill from Lowe’s

Late summer games are much more enjoyable in the new venue.

If you were there, you remember the home run that flew over us into the concourse and hit a kid in the back?

You must be 400 pounds to have all of those problems from a baseball game. Cant blame anyone but yourself for being fat

Loved loved loved the old park. I never went to day games but didn’t as a student in BTR either.
Haven’t been to the new park because baseball on turf is sacrilege.
They duped the city of Arlington to vote for it by fearmongering that they’d move to Dallas if they didn’t get a new park with a retractable roof.

I had season tickets, seven rows up from the Rangers bullpen, under the home run porch, when the ballpark opened. Didn't renew them because that was the last season we had a labor vs. management work stoppage. I didn't get season tickets again for a year or two.
Had them in the second level, where the vendors wait on you, above the Rangers dugout for a few years after that. Had a good friend who had tickets four rows up in left field. Sat with him for MLB's first interleague game, SF Giants at the Rangers, so Barry Bonds was right below us. That was a hot, day game. Those seats were great for the view, but right in the sun.
Real baseball fans, who were there for the game, didn't mind the heat, but I can see it not being a good date situation. When it was really hot, I'd just wear shorts and a light colored tee. Some nights it would be hotter at 9 pm than it was at 7:30 when the game started. That was usually because the wind died down.
