Read his posts on the OT. He is a sad little man, much like many of the politards.
And I don't GAF if Augusta does or doesn't admit women.

Neither do I...I just the over-reaction to things and joined in.

I'll just copy and paste my OT lounge post...
and it's a BLACK woman. white or black it doesn't matter to me I thought it was pretty cool that they were the only course still having restrictions, but some old school guys are probably pissed and Bobby Jones is probably rolling in his grave.

What is so funny are the people whining about the decision. It is really none of their business.
Even funnier: The people criticizing Augusta now are the same ones who said "They're a private club, it's nobody else's business, they can do whatever they want"...well, if that's the case they should take their own advice and have a nice cup of STFU.

Actually libs and feminists won't be happy.
You have to admit one of their own. This solves nothing.

Again, I'm not hating on the decision. But just as qualified as every other member? I'm pretty sure the Augusta champions are more qualified than anybody.

Sadly, you're probably right

I wonder what that worthless lib bitch will have to protest about now...I hope she realizes what a total waste of oxygen her life is...Her decomposing corpse would make nice fertilizer for one of the mounds around a green.
Tell us how you REALLY feel.

At one point, Rice was fourth in line to succeed the President. That's just one of MANY of her accomplishments. Moore has the University of South Carolina Business School named after her.

I agree with Augusta doing what Augusta chooses to do. Yes, it is a private club and they made this move on their own terms and timeline. It's up to the membership and its Board. It's not the public's decision or business. Freedom of association please. Classic Augusta will remain Classic.

When is the public outrage going to start being focused on the many, many country clubs out there that are even more exclusive than Augusta has been? The ones that don't let women, blacks, Jews, etc?
Oh, that's right, they don't host the Masters.
I don't have an issue with Augusta letting in, or not letting in, anyone they don't want to let in. That's their issue. But let's not pretend that they weren't targeted because they're in public spotlight already.

Again, they didn't just let anyone in. If anything, you're downplaying these two women's achievements. I would venture to say that Rice's achievements alone trump those of a lot of the male applicants to Augusta National.
Politics aside -- there are many male members of AN that don't come close to meeting Rice's accomplishments. To say that she isn't deserving is ridiculous. LCA, you sound like a very bitter person.

Posted on 8/20/12 at 12:12 pm to threeputt
Well obviously I'm wrong so just tell me more instead of ommfglulz'n. I'm not ashamed to admit that.

I've heard things about Baton Rouge Country Club. I can't confirm anything.
