Miami takes shots on this board, but Miami is 1,000,000x better than ATL as a pro sports town. The problem is the Fins can't get their shite together. The Heat, like every championship team, pick up fair weather fans but there are some psycho Fins fans down here even though they have sucked. When the panthers win, people go to the games.

TV viewership, but not (almost) everyday attendance. People don't even drive in from the suburbs to watch the games

Well that's what happens when you build a stadium in the most athletic and explosive part of town.

Lived in Both Nola and Atlanta now. Without a bias must say I enjoyed Atlanta more. I know people in Louisiana hate Atlanta but there is just more to do in Atlanta. Drinking can be done in any city and that was always the main thing going on in Nola. Honestly felt safer in Atlanta. Plus being able to catch MLB baseball games is nice. Trash me all you want but that is the way I saw it with no loyalty to either city.

Just think if the Braves moved to NOLA. There would be a waiting list for season tickets

so how is Miami 1000000x better exactly? because they have bandwagon Heat fans, a couple of psycho Dolphins fans and fairweather Panthers fans?

that's what you've given me in that post...I'll add to that that Hurricanes fans are some of the worst in the NCAA

It is kind of a crappy sports city. But how much so usually is overstated.

Well who wouldn't prefer Atlanta over New Orleans?

What year?

In 2011, Falcons were 96.8 % capacity (15th place)
In 2012, Falcons were 98.4 % capacity (11th place)

If you say so. I bet Fins attendance is much better than Saints attendance when sucking.

Fins fans > Saints fans.

Good god man.

You "bet?" So you're not basing this off anything other than pure conjecture?

I can tell you this is the absolute truth. The best Braves fans live in the other cities. It's weird.
