what I would do:
bring up Folty and Newcomb in place of Luke and Webb.
Rotation:
1) Fried (when he gets back)
2) Anderson
3) Folty opener 3 innings, Milone 3 innings, bullpen
4) Newk opener 3 innings, Tomlin 3 innings, bullpen
5) Wright opener 3 innings, Matzek 3 innings, bullpen
With Fried out, his spot would go to:
Wilson 2 innings, Erlin 3 innings, bullpen
Give these guys roles and put a plan in place. Stop trying to see if you can get 5 innings out of these guys and max them out at 3 innings per outing. They can fill in between starts if needed in lieu of their scheduled bullpen session.
We have 16 fricking pitchers on the roster. This could work.

I’m ready for Folty to come back. We all know he’s a head case and we never know what we will get from him, but at this point we have nothing to lose. Let’s not forget less than a year ago he put up this stat line in Game 2 vs the Cards:
7.0 IP, 0 ER, 0 R, 3 H, 0 BB, 7 K
Chances are he’ll give us a performance more like Game 5, but we literally have NOTHING to lose.
ETA: The fact that we went from wanting him out of the organization to hoping he comes back in the span of 50 days should tell you how terrible our situation is.

Foltynewicz this year seems to have been more of a strength and conditioning issue. If he has regained the weight and gotten his velocity back close to 2018 ruthenium yeah, no reason not to see where he is at

That was surreal. He was pitching like a man possessed that day.

The crazy thing was he only threw 81 pitches. I remember everyone in SunTrust booing when they saw Duvall coming in to PH.
Until he hit a HR

That’s like the 3rd time we’ve seen Ender overrun a fly ball this year

It seems like every year Kakes starts off batting .400 and then falls off a cliff. I’m starting to think we should rest him the rest of the year and wait for the playoffs.

All year we’ve given up big hits to guys who have no business doing it. Kingery, Alfaro, Chisholm, Brock Holt.

So happy we got Tommy Milone

I've completely given up on the FSGO app and just stream all the games from VoloKit

I forget, did we even attempt to re-sign Kuechel in the off-season.

Na. He wanted multi year deal.

At least Ender knows how to hit a sac fly

Why would Duval risk it there? Not much gained by trying to advance with two outs.
