So magic number is 18 for the division
Phillies have 21 games left
Braves have 17 games left.
So if the Phillies go 12-9 and we go 9-8 we clinch the division.

Duvall has 8 HR in his last 31 AB. That is absolutely absurd.

In those 31 AB, he has 12 hits. Eight are HRs.
That's absurd...

~New NL Record of 29 runs (modern era). Most Braves runs since 1883 in Boston (30).

~Braves pitcher Milone became the first starting pitcher in modern era to have his team score 10+ runs in an inning in two games in a season and not get the win in either.
~Acuña may be the first player in major league history to reach base in each of the first 6 innings. They are still checking this one.
~Grant McAuley@grantmcauleyThe #Braves have scored 44 runs (so far) in Tommy Milone's three starts with Atlanta. The #Mets have scored 44 runs in Jacob deGrom's eight starts this season.

When the Rangers scored 30 against the Orioles in 2007, they were the road team so they did it in 9 innings (and scored 6 runs in the 9th).
The Braves scored 29 in 8 innings.

As I told a Tennessee football fan last night, The Braves scored more than the Vols have vs a top 25 in over a decade.

THAT.
WAS.
AMAZING.
I fully expect the normal "Bah Gawd" over and over but that was super well done.

Hahaha exactly what I thought too. I've seen enough of those to know the "bah Gawd" is coming, but the "live from Atlanta, GA" and the other stuff was great.
"There's people in there!!!!" When they threw it near the dugout was incredible
"Making up rules as they go now!"
"He's had all damn day to warm up!"
Just a few of the good ones

Lol while a funny jab it’s not close to being true. They’ve scored at least 30 13 times against top 25 opponents in the last 10 seasons
