I don't see this posted anywhere, but we traded Joey Bart to the White Sox for an unknown return.

The 2021 trade deadline was the best and worst thing that could've happened to the Braves.
Great it won us a World Series. Awful because AA has spent every trade deadline since trying to replicate it.

I don't know why anyone expected differently. AA has never made a big deal at the deadline, even a single time. Yet every year, we anxiously wait for it to happen.
Even before AA, when was the last time the Braves went out and got someone? Michael Bourn? Tex?

Over 20 starter pitchers were traded... and our contribution was Tyler Mahle.
Can't wait for AA to say teams weren't willing to deal tomorrow.
