This broadcast has been damn near unlistenable, not only is Brian Jordan back in the booth, but they are in full-on propaganda mode acting like we made huge moves today
I’m listening on the radio (thanks baly) and I believe they have Peter moylan in the booth tonight. VERY strange listening to a non American accent broadcast a game.

I swear every time Acuña comes up to bat Chip and BJ try to convince me that he’s about to turn it around.

Chip definitely does this, but I think for all the shite we rightfully give BJ, he’s largely been spot on when diagnosing Acuña’s struggles

Did Ronald really just bat flip after a walk? I don't care about most of his stuff but that is just dumb

I’ll give em a pass. I do the same to myself

A lot of our media in general doesn’t just call the game, comment on moves and how they might effect the team, etc based on their title, they are actual fans and kind of sunshine pump a bit imo. In other places there’s just a reporter assigned to that team and they just cover them. I don’t think it’s a bad thing, it’s just kind of how it is. Like half the people that cover the New York teams are obviously not fans or are even overly critical

To be fair, broadcasters are employed by the team so they have to sunshine pump. They are a propaganda wing

Yeah I totally get it from broadcasters, and ours are just kind of bad in general and not worse specifically at that than other teams broadcast booths. But our writers are full on sunshine and rainbows

Getting Harris and Acuña on with zero outs and not scoring would be rough indeed

MLB, I want to hear someone who knows the game and will be excited when we do good but also call out players when they’re not doing shite. College sports I want a true homer at all times.
Cmon Riley.. give us the lead here. Or at least tie it up
