For all of the hard hit outs Ozuna has had, it's fitting that he gets a cheapie through the hole.

Acuña, Rosario and Ozuna all with RBI tonight.

Risario and Ozuna with multi-hit games.

…and now Arcia goes deep

AA has not been very good on the free agent market in general.

There was a breakdown a month or so ago that ranked GMs in free agent wins/$ spent in the last 5 years vs. surplus value acquired in trades the last 5 years vs. projected surplus value signed in extensions.

He was 26th I believe in dollars per win in free agency, 3rd in in surplus value acquired in trades and 1st in projected surplus value gained in extensions since 2017.

Is d’Arnaud the only free agent they’ve signed to a multi year deal who’s given them positive WAR in his entire tenure or am I forgetting someone?

The one thing that we have going for us regarding Dansby is that he is family-oriented as frick and is obsessed with Atlanta.

He better be, because he deserves the fate of Freddie. He doesn't deserve whatever he things he's going to get and I'm not one to overpay a guy for 1 year in a contract year, especially at that position.

I'd be surprised if Realmuto catches tomorrow. He has taken a beating back there tonight.

In terms of working the count and taking advantage of mistakes, this is the best collection of AB's we've put together in a while.

I have consistently maintained he’s a top 3-5 GM. He was catching a lot of heat in these threads before they won it all.

The one area he struggles with is the least efficient way to build a team in today’s climate anyway. He is the best or among the very best at managing extensions/his own club and has proven to be very good at maximizing value in trades.

No one is perfect obviously but if he has a $200M payroll to work with, which seems likely based on recent moves, he is going to be difficult to deal with for the rest of the league.
