In his last handful of starts in Atlanta and Gwinnett, it just seems like AJSS' pitches either miss a foot off the zone or catch a fat part of the plate.

Yeah, he’s not ready yet. Just hasn’t pitched enough. But if he can develop command like I think he eventually will, he’s got top of the rotation stuff. May be 2 or 3 years away from that, but could slot into the 4 or 5 spot next year if he can clean it up a bit. Or next year could be like this year with him bouncing around from Gwinnett to Atlanta a bit, but with longer stretches in Atlanta. Then be ready to be a permanent fixture in ‘25.

Yeah, he’s got to get where he’s throwing more competitive pitches. Just wasting too many right now. Depending on what we do at the deadline and who out of Chavez, Minter, Lee, and Anderson come back healthy, if they’ll bring him up in September and put him in the pen and just let him throw fastballs and whatever off-speed pitch he has the best command of.

This whole crew is absolute trash behind the plate.

Is there anybody in the NL even threatening Ronnie for just 1st place MVP votes at this point?

Nope. He's on his way to a unanimous vote.
Surprised he isn't trying to steal on Contreras' arm with a RHP on the mound.

Ronald is a freak athlete and also becoming a great baseball player. Tremendous dedication to the game.

He might eventually K here, but you can tell Riley is really seeing the ball well right now. Not getting fooled on anything.

He's a baseball player who is also a freak athlete, not the other way around.
His hitting approach has been elite since day one.

I think he’s long passed the point of just being a freak athlete. He’s been a great baseball player for a few years now. Still getting better, though.

I want to know what our record is when Olson and Riley drive in runs.
I really feel like them producing in the middle of the order is the difference between a 5th World Series and losing the NLDS in 5.

Such a smart approach to the game for a fairly young player.

This lineup is the greatest of all time.

Olson has really turned it on this year.

The opponents have to pitch to every Braves batter because there’s a stud up behind them. Dominant lineup.

In all seriousness, I can see some west BBWA guy who doesn't value stolen bases give Freddie a sham vote.
His hitting numbers are close to Ronald's this season.

The Brewers have good pitching and this lineup is destroying them.

No doubt. It’s clear by now Olson is much better in the 4-hole where he’s gonna hit with runners on and have to be pitched to. I don’t think he was comfortable in the 2-hole with Ronnie dancing around on 1st and not knowing when he’d take off. You wind up having to take too many pitches early in the count. I’m not sure Ozzie loves it either. You’ve got to be comfortable hitting with 2 strikes, and I’m not sure that’s Ozzie when 90% of his ABs are from the left side. He’s perfect there batting RH. But Harris is the only other real option there, and I wouldn’t want to move him there now with the way he’s been hitting lately from the 9-hole.
