I'm still Phuck the Braves but admittedly that was some great baseball last night that didn't go our way. Now we head to the Bank to a real ballpark to close this bitch out

Yes, you can add/remove players from the roster between each series. When they originally put him on the IL, the plan was always to have him ready for the NLCS. With that said, we saw how rusty was Fried was last night coming back from a long layoff.

I’m guessing if they choose to put Daysbel Hernandez or someone on the IL and replace him with Morton, the people in Philly will raise a stink about it.

Nah, players get added and removed from series to series every year. It’s a common practice. They don’t have to put anyone on the IL to make the move.

You’re saying Braves could add Morton to the NLDS roster right now and he could pitch tomorrow without putting a player on the IL?

Oh I misread, thought you said NLCS. Morton could be added if there is an injury, but AA already said weeks ago that won’t happen. He won’t pitch until the NLCS at the earliest.

Sounds like Braves have made their decision but waiting to announce. Bowman hinting it will be AJSS with the possibility of Minter or Hand opening.

I get the idea of not allowing Schwarber/Harper to jump out to early momentum, but they are both going to have bigger ABs in later innings.
