Big ups to Drew Smyly today.

No doubt. He’s runner up for game mvp behind Rosario imo

Just an unreal performance that I never would’ve believed he was capable of

Agreed. He saved our season.

Losing Ynoa was a blessing in disguise.

They don't have a choice.

Roberts fricked their pitching up big time. Like major FUBAR'd. If they lose this series it'll be on him.

Our Braves are in a great, great spot.

These Dodgers have pitched in 10 games, and 88 innings since Oct 6. They've got some injuries and it looks like their pitching is on the ropes....

The Dodgers are 5-5 in the playoffs. Braves are 6-2 and have pitched 70 innings during the playoffs.

The MLB rules putting the Dodgers in the wildcard game and then them going a full 5 games against the Giants... and then us having homefield advantage has really worked to our advantage.

Braves have their foot on the Dodger's throats. and Max Fried has the shovel in hand!

This year's team and situation is totally different from last year.

Braves are winning tonight and closing out this series.

Can't blame Roberts... he is in the same boat we're in. He has 3 starting pitchers that he trusts. And Kershaw is injured.

He's trying to pitch 9 innings and win. Night after night. You gotta do what you gotta do to win today's game... while also holding however many arms for the next game.

While also considering the match-ups and situations.

It ain't easy. Again - the Dodgers have pitched 10 games and 88 innings since Oct 6. In the playoffs. With 3 real, legit starting pitchers.

Rosario has to be series MVP right now doesn’t he? 10-17, slugging over 1000, two 4 hit games, walk off hit in game 2.

Here’s a nice read

LINK

quote:

Leave open the final week of this month, as well as maybe the first few days of November.

The Dodgers are returning to the World Series.

quote:

Just try getting excited about a matchup against the 88-win Braves after a down-to-the-wire showdown against the 107-win San Francisco Giants that was decided in the final inning of a five-game series.

Instead of “Beat L.A!” there will be the cartoonishly racist Tomahawk Chop, an unfortunate part of current Dodgers president Stan Kasten’s legacy in Atlanta.

quote:

Thankfully, the fans at Truist Park will be chopping and oh-oh-ohing for only two more days, as this series is unlikely to return to Atlanta.

Following Games 1 and 2 on Saturday and Sunday, the series will move for the next three games to Los Angeles, where the series should end.

Unlike the Giants, the Braves don’t have the balance to stay with the Dodgers.

If they were in the NL West, they would have finished 18 1/2 games out of first place. If they were in the NL Central, they would have finished in third place behind the Milwaukee Brewers and St. Louis Cardinals.

These aren’t the same Braves who had a three-games-to-one lead over the Dodgers in the NLCS last year.

Their best player, Ronald Acuña Jr., went down with a season-ending knee injury in July.

quote:

The Braves’ lineup includes Freddie Freeman, Ozzie Albies and Pederson. The Dodgers’ lineup has better high-end players, with Mookie Betts, Corey Seager and Trea Turner.

The Dodgers are just better.

And they won’t choke. They won’t beat themselves. They will show up. They will fight.

The Dodgers have now advanced to the NLCS five times in the last six years. In another week or so, they will be able to say they have reached the World Series in four of the last five years.

He has three starters that he trusts but he has used two of them unnecessarily out of the bullpen, which has left their pitching in shambles.

Early morning reminder. Since everyone is making excuses ( talking heads and MLB network) for the Dodgers injuries, etc. Braves have no Mike Soroka, Ronald Acuna, Ozuna, and traded a human mascot(love this line because it’s true LOL) for Eddie Rosario. Where ere the excuses for them. There are none because all they do is lace them up and play ball! Go Braves end this tonight!!

Yeah Braves fans do not need to hear anything from any other fan base about injuries. Acuna is by far the biggest loss of either of the team in the NLCS considering we don’t have an unlimited payroll to just slide another all star into his slot

Hats off to AA for the moves he made at the deadline. I’ll eat a pile of crow because I 100% was on the side preferring to be sellers
