I’d do a bullpen game if anything. 2 innings for a couple of em and 1 for the rest

If someone gets hurt on this infield tonight, there will be a lot of questions to answer. What a mess.

They had to play this. Tomorrow is gonna be a rain out. Possibly having to play a double header if it comes down to it in the division right before the playoffs would be brutal and no one wants that

Yeah I know, but man. It is a quagmire.

What an incredible fricking pick by Dansby there. Wow.

Would also suck arse for us if it does turn into a 9-10pm start and then have to fly to the west coast

I would think they'll make the decision relatively early tomorrow and then play the game on the Monday after the regular season if necessary.

I think it’s still Ynoa.

Let him go 4 and 1st sign of trouble after the 4th go to the pen.

Be interesting to see who throws in Touki’s spot next go around

I'm guessing Wright gets another shot. His turn in the rotation matches and he's been on fire in Gwinnett. I'd like to see Muller come back up though.

I think I’d go Ynoa 2 maybe 3. Muller 2. Wright 1 or 2 depending on Ynoa. Then regular bullpen after that.

For the playoffs that is. Either way I just don’t see us making it out of the DS. Gonna be wild last month

Don’t see them carrying 3 guys for the purpose of getting 6 innings even with only needing 4 starters in the playoffs.

If Smyly is not in the plans I wish we’d move on now and give Mueller / Wright / or even Touki a couple of bullpen appearances to see how they’ll react

Cardinals got lucky to make a couple of cheap trades for Lester and Happ. Both are doing good right now. Never know a change of scenery was good both both of those two pitchers. They were doing bad at their previous team. That is why you roll the dice and give it a try.

What does that have to do with my post?

You were saying Atlanta will need a 4th starter for the playoff? Atlanta should've made a trade for one starter pitcher and roll the dice for one that sucked playing on a bad team. Both Pitchers the Cardinals got were good in the past. Now looking good so far for the Cardinals.
