Butch Duhe'

From Holy Cross in New Orleans, would have been a star at LSU. Died of a brain aneurism on the practice field, I think.

Poor Lyman Bostock- such a great hitter. The guy that killed him mistook him for the guy his wife was cheating with. He was putting up Wade Boggs/Tony Gwynn numbers at the plate when he was murdered.

I mean, I'm not gonna go all mizzoukills and call the dude a hero, but his BAC doesn't change the fact that he died before his prime.

Im a younger guy,so the one guy who comes to mind most is Sean Taylor, he was one of my favorite players, to see him go really hurt me.

The all-American sophomore wingback for Marshall when their school airplane actually crashed with no survivors.

Odd way of putting that

I stated it that way due to the op saying that he was not including race car drivers but then had Tim Richmond in his OP who was a NASCAR driver that died of AIDS, not on the track.
