Its already from pitcher to catcher in a blink of an eye when a umpire or catcher wears that camera

If it’s on target? Whatever speed would take the catchers hand clean off lol

Bjorkman returned a 152 mph serve from Roddick so faster than that

Mets had a barefoot prospect who threw 168 and the catcher caught it.

WE desperately need to replay balls and strikes, NOW.

That’s at 75 feet and hitting with a racket way bigger than a catchers mitt. Catching at 60.5’ while adjusting to location is much harder.

Too late.

It's technically closer the rubber is at that distance
A randy Johnson type throwing a 100 and releasing the ball at 55.5 feet is more accurate.

True. Even harder. I would say they would have a hard time around 115+ maybe a little less.

Had to be intimidating with Randy being 6'10" and not always accurate.

It ain't speed, it is location. Cue the knuckleball. I knew catchers that would bring a larger glove to try and corner that thing.

Accurate enough to destroy a bird in mid flight.

.327 seconds for 100mph at 55 foot
Aroldis Chapman has hit 106 a few times.
And 60foot 6 inches from the front of the rubber to the back triangle of the plate

It would be cool if you got a pitching machine send a pitch that is about 200 mph. It would be accurate. I would want to see what happens to the catcher's hand with a glove at that speed. If the hand is fine, then you would increase the speed by 25 mph until the catcher's hand is broken or shattered.

...and a lighter ball that's fuzzy and loses velocity faster
It's an incredibly dumb comparison

Some guys on YouTube do stuff like this. In one video, they made what was basically a potato gun contraption and threw baseballs to a stationary glove and cranked the speed up until the glove fell apart
