If a city ponies up enough money - including footing the bill to transport all the cadets and midshipmen to the site - the game will be played outside the NE.

My guess it will be played at Jerryworld at some point. Both academies recruit Texas heavily.

Uh I mean it's nice and all, but there's nothing historically special about it. It's still brand new.

What about just at Mitchie Stadium for once again?

Beano Cook always said when he died he'd sell his soul just to walk the West Point campus again and see the cadets of West Point march in before the game. He said it was the most inspirational sight in college football with the campus along the Hudson and the Cadets and military pageantry before the game against Navy.

Beano was right.

Catching a game when the leaves are changing in the fall, on the river, with all the pageantry is amazing.

I don't care. I don't think I would go to it if it was in my city and I had free tickets.

It could be interesting if the captain of the losing team gets executed.

That'd be cool but it'd be too expensive to have the student bodies travel to the game. Keeping it between Baltimore/DC/Philly/New York makes it much cheaper as its withing driving distance for both schools.

Would be cool but the logistics of flying, feeding, and housing 8,800 cadets and midshipmen is an expense that the tax payers should not be burdened with.

Has to be in driving distance of both academies.

No, dumbest idea ever. Why in the hell should the game be in Jerry's World which would make a mockery of the game.

Keep it in Philadelphia, New York, Baltimore or Washington. They are East Coast schools and yes the game was played at the Rose Bowl before, but that should be it. The idea of the game in Jerry's World or at Lambeau Field is retarded.

There is a line. USNA is south of that line. It is not northeast of that line.

Yeah only twice has it been off the East coast: Chicago 1926 (to commemorate the opening of Soldier Field, a new WWI memorial), and Pasadena 1983 (weird situation where the city of Pasadena ponied up travel expenses for all cadets and midshipmen for the game).

My best friend in high school was a midshipman at the Rose Bowl game. Had a blast. (CSB)

Soooo... what do you do with all of the students from the two academies that go to this game? Do you pay the millions of dollars to fly them all over the place? Or do you say, "hey, this is our game now."

On the surface, I like the idea of moving the game around the country -- but in doing that, you will keep the two Academy's Cadets from attending the game in the masses that they do today -- will greatly reduce the spirit of the game.
