I enjoy this kind of football a lot more than your Big 12 63-56 TD-a-thon. But that's just me

Thankfully CBS still shows the alma maters. Proud of the men and women on both sides.

I mean it came down to the last 2 minutes in a rivalry game where one team now has 10 wins and the other has 10 losses. That’s a good game.

Same here. I don't get preferring a game where scoring a touchdown is basically meaningless because the other team is going to score one in a couple minutes.

What a clean game. If only all games were so well officiated and played.

Well, except for that replay that lasted a few hours.

There are hundreds of student made ads they play in the stadium all game long. They are often hilarious

The thing about this game and the offenses and defenses is the anticipation of one big play breaking to turn the tide of the game, or one huge turnover. Just a few really game defining plays that make the difference between winning and losing. The margin is razor thin.

Big 12 football is so much scoring and so little defense that it's big play after big play after TD after TD. Pretty soon they're just trading baskets like an NBA game. No suspense, no drama. No penalty for missing a tackle that leads to a TD because, well, the offense will return that score in about 1 min 45 seconds. No big deal.

Good game, as always. No bullshite, no homerism. Just smashmouth football. Refreshing.

Was this the spotting of the ball on the 4th down try by Army? I was listening on the radio so I do not know how close it was (if at all).
