I could see Arkansas State becoming a legit P5 school someday. It's not terrible academically, is in a nice mid sized college town, has decent fan support, is far enough from the flagship, and has resources.

Unfortunately, Arkansas State has a comparatively-miniscule endowment of $54.9 million. That makes it a very difficult sell to P5 conferences.

This is actually a secret evil plot. They won't treat the water for mosquitoes and will put opposing fans by it.

Arkansas doesn't produce enough players for one school unfortunately

I totally see them in the PAC 12. I'm sure west coast people remember them fondly from the Big West football days

Please, go post this on an Arkansas forum. Then ask why doesn't Arkansas play ASU. I guarantee that baby goes at least 10 pages and stays on the front page until preseason practices begin, no matter how big or small the Arkansas board is.

C'mon Arkansas State. Are you sure you really need this??

Don't go chasing waterfalls. Please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to. I know that you're gonna have it your way or nothing at all, but I think you're moving too fast....

Wonder how many games it will take from some drunk student to fall/jump in?
