How could he not know who he was playing?

I mean, I guess it is theoretically possible that he didn't know.

I totally missed that because I was laughing. That's funny.

Possibly, but the way the expression changed on his face when he was told was one of total surprise.

The game ended right as their game was about to start. It's really possible he had no idea.

Maybe, but I was watching the afccg presentation trophy and didn't know this game had already started.
So it's not that far fetched

He has a really weird/sketchy character. He was most likely lying. He tries way too hard and is just plain weird/disingenuous.

But, I thought moment was pretty cool.

Yeah I mean it's not that crazy to think he didn't know. You would hope right before the game they wouldn't be focused on who they would potentially play.

They should add to that Peyton Manning insurance commercial:

"Cam is going to beat our arse"

It wouldn't have mattered who won the other game if they'd lost. I don't see why that's so hard to believe.

He's about to play in the biggest game of his career. You think he's paying attention to the other game? Why would he lie about that?

People on this board hate the guy for the dumbest reasons.

The game wasn't even over when their game began. I am sure Rivera wanted no reports of the results to keep focus. It isn't difficult to understand that.
