Definitely an unfortunate story but is it really sad if someone is given chance after chance after chance and still fails to get his act together?
I mean, he's probably quite severely mentally ill. So yes, that is quite unfortunate.

I think he might actually be bipolar or worse, schizophrenic. The idea that you just tell the ill like that to "get their act together" is laughable.

Mentally ill. People on these boards HATE the mentally ill. It's the weirdest thing ever to me.

I keep seeing the word “unfortunate”

How is it unfortunate? The man is a serial criminal by his own doing

It's too bad it's come down to this, but who can honestly say they are surprised at this point?

A condition like you stated has all but been confirmed by insiders

Sad story. It’s hard enough to deal with to begin with. My understanding is that he and his circle haven’t always treated it like the big deal it is.

FIFY

I no sympathy for him. He has had more chances than he deserves. He has been to 3 powerhouse CFB programs with all the help he could ever ask for and pissed it away. Give me the Mason Taylor’s and Trey Dez Greens over Gilbert any day and twice in Sunday’s.

Counter: would you say people without actual issues (either severe mental health or pretty catastrophic trauma) be in his position?

Nothing about this reads like he’s just entitled athlete with some boundary issues

Nah, it totally makes sense to have multiple once in a generation talents playing the same sport at the same time.

I can only imagine he's been failed in every way - including by having legions of strangers pile on him.

Democrats and the media taught everyone in 2020 about insurance and why it is OK to destroy businesses.

Black Lives Matter, and so do companies having insurance!

It is OK for this young man to let his frustration out.

Unfortunately if he doesn’t get real mental help he will end up dead or in prison in the next few years.

He doesn't need "mental help". He needs to make little rocks out of big rocks in prison for a while.
