I have those white and blue KD8 You would be proud of me for copping the white and black versions of the Federer/Jordan Vapor AJ3s.

UA shoes are gradually getting better. The main cross trainer they have out now is as good as anything Nike produces.

My goodness those are sweet. I'd never wear them(only basketball shoes I've ever owned were T-Mac 1s), but man those are nice.

I dont' follow this stuff so this is a legit quesiton.

Whenever an apparel company partners with a celebritry to design a shoe, how exactly does that process go? Because these shoes are nothing. They are plain white, nothing of substance or flair, just plain old plain. I want ot know what the decision making process was between Curry and UA to decide THIS was what they were going to roll out to the public. I mean, do they just think "it's curry's shoe, he's hot right now, people will buy it regardless"?

At least with Jordans, there is a lead designer who comes up with the base design and gets the most say.

I.E., Jordan originally didn't want his first J's to be red and black, but Nike refused to oblige because he played for the Bulls.

Athletes now I would assume get more say, but ultimately it's up to the designers. If you come out with a shitty shoe then they get the can.

It's clear Under Armour is trying to break into the 'casual' basketball shoe, a market that Jordan brand dominates. This, however, was a huge failure in that.

I'm on mobile, but there are some better ones. They have a green/gold curry 2 low, some blue/gold "gold rings" special edition they just released, and a red, white, and blue he was supposed to wear for Olympics. I think they just throw out a few simple color ways for people who want clean.

I've never owned Lebron's.

I've always wanted some, but I can't bring myself to spend anymore than $200 on shoes. It kills me spending that much on Jordans.
