Hoiberg on the sidelines:

LINK

I do love my man on the right with a full hand of sanitizer and is still pumping more in the other hand while the coach on the left has the "I just caught it too" look

Y’all realize Hoiberg has a mechanical valve in his heart and that’s likely what caused this, correct?

That doesn't look like an issue with a mechanical valve

Oh for sure, the NCAA is going to cancel the tournament for good now. No games at all. When you have an idiot coach that can't stay away from other people like that knowing he's sick. Lol, it's over with now. Just what we didn't need to happen at the worst time possible. Dumbass doesn't even describe him enough.

I don't think you can say what likely caused what happened to him tonight. Yes he has a mechanical valve but that doesn't mean it likely caused what we saw without more information, something we don't have yet. He could just as easily have the coronoavirus, the flu, a stomach bug, or a host of other issues. But the simple fact remains, he never should have tried to coach tonight if he felt sick or exposed himself to others. It was a selfish, dumbass thing to do.

The optics of what Gobert did are bad. He shouldn't have done it. It could be what caused this. The average incubation time is about 5 days, I believe. So he easily could've gotten it somewhere else.

Has it been confirmed that Hoiberg has corona yet?

No. Doesn't appear that way.

Hoiberg's son posted a photo saying he was released. No quarantine. Assuming it was flu?

I’m confused as to why hoiberg was already released from hospital

Did he go solely to get tested?

He looked really sick regardless, and when you consider he has heart issues, it seems like it would have been wise to monitor him anyway to make sure whatever illness he is isn’t dangerous for his body.

Unless he felt better?

Gobert needs to be kicked out of the Association. He was blatantly irresponsible.

He was sick before the game and cleared to coach. I'm assuming he tested positive for the flu previously and just needed fluids or something?

Also, he has had multiple heart issues in the past.

Good for him. although the damage maybe have already been done. A coach knowingly went out and coached knowing he was sick, knowing the climate we're in right now.

I hate to say it but I honestly wouldnt be surprised to hear if the NCAA follows suit like the NBA and completely cancel the tournament. After all, Hoiberg showed you can't trust players/coaches to stay home if they are sick at all.

Hope this is not the case but we will soon see

A big part of Jordan's legacy was playing with the flu. Just sayin.
