Anybody here ever caught a foul ball @ a college/mlb game?

I've only been to a couple mlb games and usually sit in the grandstand @ the box when I go.
Reason I ask is because I see some of these piss rockets getting snagged down the line like it's nothing(and because I'll be sitting 3rd base line Astros/Cubs in Sept
) . Always wonder what my first reaction would be. I think I'd be ducking like a mofo just because of the chances of it taking a bad hop off some klutzes hand and catching me in the grill. I trust myself, I don't trust the jackleg in front trying to barehand a ball with nachos in his hand.

I have been hit by two balls
i was sitting down 3rd at an Astros game and ball came screaming and clipped my shoulder blade. Didn't hurt too bad
the second one, i was sitting in the club at minute maid and ball bounced off the glass. Hit me in arse and the lady next to me grabbed it.

Caught a home run ball at an A&M game when I was a kid. Dad went there and used to take me to games.

I caught one many years ago in the Astrodome. Bounced off a guy a couple of rows in front of me and pretty much fell in my lap. I gave it to a kid sitting behind me. His Dad bought me a couple of beers.

Caught one off the bounce from the stairs at Minute Maid several years back. Pop up down the 3B line

the first one, I wasn't paying much attention. I was talking to a friend next to me with my head turned away from the action...bad idea on the third baseline.

No, but I did catch a ball that Biggio threw into the stands back at the Astrodome.
Almost caught a Derek Bell home run ball once... was first row of the Astrodome OF, it was coming right for me, but the jackleg behind me reached over and it hit off of his hands and fell down below.
That's all I've got.

Caught a batting practice ball at Minute Maid. I was standing in one of the arch ways that line left field under the railroad tracks. The ball was actually hit off the archway and I was able to pin it against the wall with my glove. My dad had to reach over and me and grab my glove and the ball before it fell off my hand

Never a straight up foul ball. This year at Spring Training, for Royals/Angels, we were sitting behind the KC dugout, and Escobar threw a ball to me and I handed it to my 5 year old son. One of the coolest moments of my life seeing his face light up.

I caught a foul ball at a White Sox game.
Fouled back behind the plate, a guy two rows in front of me got a hand on it but did not make the play. It basically fell into my lap.

I caught a homerun ball hit by Albert Bell at the Box in 1988
I caught a homerun ball hit by Albert Pujols at Minute Made Park in 2010
I also caught a football that was shanked by the punter during warm ups at a Colorado/Cal game in Bolder. I shoved it inside of my bag as soon as I caught it and no one around me ratted me out.

I've never caught one in the air, but I've had a few roll up on me at the Trop in St. Pete.
