I know they won't do it but it should be:
Michigan vs Cincy
Bama vs Georgia
not
Bama vs Cincy
Michigan vs Georgia

I wish. Bama/Michigan title game would be fun.

I think they should leave UGA out.

This is the correct answer but the people who choose these things are idiots.
Uga getting a playoff spot and a suck arse potental rematch with ala is terrible for college football.

I’m fine with the matchups the way they’ll likely be…
1.) Alabama
2.) Michigan
3.) Georgia
4.) Cincinnati
Think both Cinci and Michigan have the potential to make their semis closer than people think they will be.
Even if it ends up being Georgia/Bama in the Natty, Georgia will be smart enough (maybe) to commit to the run on offense and send more pressure with both man and zone looks on the back-end like both LSU and Auburn did against Bama.

I’d say likely. Committee doesn’t want another sec or southern final. This gives them a shot at way more viewers.

There is no way there isn’t a SEC semi

It should be Michigan (1) vs. UGA (4); Bama (2) vs. Cincinnati (3)

IMHO, it would be a mistake to allow for a Bama/GA Final. The viewer interest and ratings might be less for an all-SEC Final in which there's no doubt that an SEC team will be the National Champ.

Georgia has no prayer whatsoever against a rested Bama. Georgia blew it’s chance. No NC this year.

Yeah but this does give the small
Possibility of GA getting a rematch and winning the rematch for the natty
Give Bama a taste of that shite

how is that the correct answer? because georgia lost their game later than everyone else?

People say that they have to avoid a Bama/Georgia semifinal but I think what you really have to avoid is a Bama/Georgia final. If you're gonna have the Bama/Georgia game again let's just do it next game and move on with the winner. That's essentially the position that Bama was in. They came out of the loser's bracket and had to beat Georgia twice. I'd have Michigan and Cincy at 1/4 with Bama and Georgia at 2/3.
