Take away all of the kneeling stuff (which i had no problem with - peaceful protest), the dude is a straight up distraction. No team is going to inject that into their locker room in week 13 - not even the Bengals or Dolphins. He's going to have to wait until FA opens in the offseason.

Kunta Kinte and Kap both struggled against oppression and racism.

I get the reference.

He is done.

He was judged by his actions and not his race.

It’s over.

I think he is a good backup quarterback option but teams don’t want to deal with the protests and off the field stuff with him. The media will be a circus and teams just want no part of that. I still think his heart is not in it 100%.

I heard the same things about signing a " dog killing psycho & ex convict" in Michael Vick who barely completes 55% if his passes. Kaepernick was far more successful in the Postseason than Vick ( stats , team record , Offensive PPG,etc...) by most any metric.

I could understand Miami not signing Kap, but this " media circus" & " distractions" is so overblown.

If Kap would just shut his mouth and not wear “Kunta Kinta” t shirts he would have had a job years ago.

I really wish that a team would sign him. Some team that is completely out of it and can afford to just throw him to the wolves. They may take a bit of a PR hit up front, but it would shut this fool up.

Vick wasn’t demanding insane money and causing a media circus on purpose.

If you’ve ever hired anybody or managed folks, you know some people are talented but not a good fit for your organization or worth the hassle.

I was one of those people at one time.

Sometimes it’s not about talent. Nobody wants to put up with him.

Niners look a lot better with Jimmy G than they did the last two years with Kaep.

Yes that is the only thing anyone needs in a NFL QB

A strong arm

The NFL with Kap is the same as the NBA with China, it's all about not pissing off a big portion of the fanbase and keeping the money flowing.

If they sign Kap,the whole thing will flare up again and the league will get roasted by Trump and the owners will be rightfully scared that TV ratings will be threatened again.

Would you hire a guy who openly promoted racial tensions, angered a decent portion of your consumers, and screwed you over during an interview?

You would be a terrible business owner.

Do all of you really think Kaepernick actually wants to play in the NFL again? He's 10x more "famous" as a faux SJW martyr than a backup, or even starting QB. That workout was simply a farce to keep his name in the headlines and continue to promote his brand as a "victim". If he was really serious about landing a job he could have pushed hard for a private workout with teams. Instead, he shows up to this event with TV cameras in tow wearing a shirt bearing the name of a fictional slave somehow trying to make the comparison that he, a guy who has NEVER been forced to work against his will for free and earned more money that 99% of people will ever earn in their lifetime, is being treated akin to a slave.

Getting signed by an NFL team would be the WORST thing for his current "career" as he could then no longer go through life as a perpetual and very wealthy "victim"
