This is basically the opposite of reality.

Not my reality. I know families that did everything right to raise their kids: Good schools, expecting good behavior and proper manners, instilling a work ethic to show nothing is free, the parents running the show and not the other way around, etc.

Then they get out on their own and go off the rails, drinking heavily, drugs, failing to hold down a job etc.

As adults they chose their path, and it wasn't the path the parents paved for them.

You are the one not dealing in reality. No matter how someone is raised, there are times where choices are made sporadically that can change lives forever.

I think you are confusing absolute guarantee of it making a difference with "little bearing".

For fricks sake man, of course how a kid is raised has a huge bearing on how they turn out.

Of course. But, that is not what was said. What was said was that how people are raised has LITTLE BEARING on their behavior as adults (it was actually said backwards and made even less sense).

That's obviously wrong.

Dude, you said this.

what they do as adults has little bearing on how they were raised or the values instilled in them growing up

That's just false. No matter how you spin it.

Dude, assistant linebacker coach isn’t high pay, high powered.

He gets to collect jockstraps for 40k/yr max.

Britt Reid isn't assistant linebackers coach is he? The Chiefs website has him listed just as linebackers coach, not as assistant linebackers coach. Idk, the Chiefs have a confusing list of titles for their coaching staff.

And you took what I said out of context to suit your spin.

When kids become adults they are in control of their lives and they sometimes go off the rails no matter how well they were raised, and that is an undisputable fact.

Good news.

If he’s got an on field role then he’s pulling in atleast 6 figures. I’d say low end 100k. That’s a huge opportunity that he definitely doesn’t deserve no matter how you slice it

Obviously nepotism is insane at the NFL level, but it’s a rough look to hire your son on staff after his past, especially when he fricks it up.

This is why you should always tell them 6-7 drinks to throw the cops off your scent.

What’s funny is you probably think that’s high paying.
