@AdamSchefter: Andrew Luck just made it official - he is retiring, and is emotional about it.

I hope Luck sits out a couple of years and comes back and signs with the Patriots and owns the AFC.

This is an embarrassing admission.

What a pussy. Life can be hard. He's faced none of that.

Dearest Mother,

I have tired of the constant skirmishes and battles of this long and dreadful war, and fear my heart is no longer in leading the regulars. I take my leave, and will study in peace for the years to come.

I'm gonna be sad to see that go.

He's had more injuries at age 29 than I'll ever have in my life unless I have something like a car accident.

ESPN was really blindsided by this. Not a single channel on their family of networks was available to cover the press conference or get any of their analysts on camera to break down this breaking news.
Kinda funny.

Luck massively screwed up not coming out the year before. Carolina's not a great organization by any means but they're much better than Indy. He would have had a HOF career if he went there.

Exactly.

Reminds me Matt Leinart. He also should’ve left early.

Luck decided to stay and had to live in the shadow of one of the greatest QB’s of all time.

I could see that but I could just as easily envision him just loving regular life. He’s already made a shite ton of money. Some book club in some suburb is about get another member.

Get back at us when you march our behind Indy’s shittastic offensive line with a lacerated kidney, torn abdomen, or torn labrum (in your throwing shoulder I might add).

GTFO with that bullshite.
