Looks like 2 steps to me. Hes in the process of picking up his dribble in the first step in the clip. That's not counted towards his step count.

It’s an obvious travel but when it was live I didn’t notice it. The refs let them play all game so I’m ok with it.

Not obvious, it's by rule not a travel, which is why it wasnt called.
You can call it a travel, but you have to ignore rules. Feel free to ignore rules, but it's kind of dumb and pointless.

His first step he is still gathering the ball which counts as part of the dribble. Then two steps.

He picks up his dribble right before the video starts. That step was on the dribble and does not count towards the 2-step rule.
He then takes the two legal steps.
