This comes only a week and a half after he signed with the Raiders.

Jack Bech better than Amari Cooper, what a world

Probably saw the writing on the wall and retiring saves him more dignity than getting benched/relegated to practice squad

Saw Geno throw and was like
He would have been behind Bech and Thornton most likely

He looked slow in their practice video. Good career.

Copper was good not great… you couldn’t tell Bama fans a decade ago he wasn’t going be the next Jerry Rice

Both people who drafted him in their fantasy draft last week are going to pissed.

To be fair, at Alabama he was incredible and had a ton of production. I don’t think he ever had a great QB situation in the NFL either, particularly during his prime years. Dak and Carr were okay, but they aren’t great. Still, Coop had a good career and made a lot of money. Good for him.

He was also incredibly consistent. Regardless of the team or QB, Amari was going to have 70-85 receptions and 1,000 yards.

I think this is true to some degree, but that Justin Jefferson guy could have 1500 yards with one of us throwing him the ball.

Always really like this kid, even when he was at Bama. And given the quarterback situations he had, he was very good and very productive.

Agreed, seemed like a really good dude, made some money, never in a peep of trouble. I hope he enjoys retirement.

Always admired AC. Any receiver who was good enough to get separation without ever touching the defender is a boss and he was one. I wish him the best…. Man Bama was a WR machine

136 million earned over 10 years. Not bad for a kid from the slums of liberty city

Amari was a beast. Going to Cleveland ruined the end of his career. Wish he could have had a legit QB to be paired with.

Yeah he was getting blasted all over the place.
