I grew up a Memphis fan back when they were a power house and enjoyed watching them. Memphis and Kentucky were fun to watch 10-15 years ago. Boogie, Tyreke, D rose,Joe Jackson, Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight to list a few.

Kemba was by far my favorite non LSU tournament run/player.

He was an all American , POTY candidate and then a lottery pick.

I wouldn’t say he’s the same player I am looking at

Juan Dixon doesn’t IMO
Consensus first team all American, POTY candidate and ACC POTY
Lead the #1 ranked team to a title and was a first round pick

As in playing ability or awards? Competition is a little different and I'd say he's one of the best right now. Confused by what you mean by that.

Discounting the not very productive NBA career I remember Steph Curry tearing it up in the tourney at Davidson.

I’m going to give this one a go.
You can say that run put the spotlight on him.
He ended up staying another year and dominating but if not for the Elite 8 run he may have not been that high of a pick?

Yeah I agree. He dominated the story though that entire tournament and transcended basketball for a few weeks which is why I included him.

I remember post college career he was at the draft combine (he wasn’t picked) and them saying something like he had 30% body fat.

This is him now

Fair enough.

It’s tiugher with the P5 teams, i actually just looked at saw Pittsnogle was a POTY candidate and 3rd team all American.
So that may be a little wrong

It’s most certainalt the guys who play for the mid major teams.

The NIU guy is a great one
