an early 50's NCAA CHAMP team had 5 NBA players on it, 4 were starters. Hagan was hall of fame.
the best guy on the team went to med school instead, was an first team All American.

These conversations are always interesting in that regard. I get that we have all NBA in the thread title so that seems clear, which is good, because it always gets skewed that way anyways.

People interpret it differently. I took NBA to mean based off performance in the pros, instead of all time starting 5 based on college performance. Duke's for instance, would look a lot different.

Yeah Jay Williams would be my choice for duke point guard if just evaluating on college resume, but we all know how his pro career went.
