seeing that it looks like a pretty good play. westbrook wasnt looking at all. maybe he called timeout with his mouth but i didnt see any signal at all.

Jesus.

Russ pointed at the ref before Bevtard made his lunge.

Pointing at refs =/= calling timeout

I am sorry but that is pretty reckless and dangerous its a chip block what was he thinking
Reckless?

Wow. So lunging to attempt to make a steal BEFORE the whistle blows is reckless?

And he made his lunge before the whistle blew, that's all that really matters, he made the basketball play before the whistle blew.

Once the whistle blew, there was zero chance for him to stop before trying to make the steal.

Yes, the player who's 6th in the league in scoring and 7th in assists won't be missed.

Hole-e-shite.

Awesome sample size.

He also shot 20 of 32 the game before, I guess they won't miss that according to your logic, right?

Again, this potentially makes it tougher for the Heat.

This may be good for Durant/OKC. Westbrook takes way too many shots away from Durant (and he misses a lot more than Durant). Even Magic Johnson said Westbrook was a terrible point guard during the Finals last season.

This:

Fake timeout

You play til the whistle blows or you're not doing your job.

That said, I'm a Rockets fan but not happy to see anyone hurt.

.i am exicted to watch durant takeover a game like he should now without ball hog westbrook on the court

the only reason durant doesn't take over more games is b/c he doesn't want to and defers to westbrook

i see the point now. he probably verbally asked for timeout too. considering that play is par for the course you would think someone who has played as much basketball as westbrook would know its coming.

and i guarantee he's done it as well in his career.

Look at the ref on the play. He has the whistle in his mouth but doesn't actually signal the timeout until after contact. I see it as the timeout was called simultaneously and it was a good hustle play. Just a simple foul. Every team does this at some point when it is obvious the team wants a timeout. I'd bet Westbrook has done it many times with his aggressive style of play. Just an unfortunate injury that happens in sports.

Yes, cherry pick that game, where literally nothing right for the Thunder including the Heat hitting 14 three-pointers while shooting 55% from behind the line.

And go ahead forget the previous game where he scored 43 points.

Yup, sounds about right

Didn't they lose that game too?

I'll take Magic's opinion any day over anyone here.
